Considered the Mediterranean grape variety par excellence. It is distinguished by pleasant herbal sensations, consistency and proper alcohol level on the palate. Medium blooming and flowering, ripening in the early-mid period. It is a sturdy variety, resistant to dry spells. Its grapes are medium-sized, not very compact and have thin skin. It has a certain tendency toward oxidation.
